What Can I Talk About During A Pre-Health Advising Session?
Course planning, getting experience (including clinical experience, certifications, volunteer work, and observation hours), exploring health professions options, back-up plans, gap year, application process, exam prep, personal statements, letters of recommendation, and more*.
Peer Advising can be especially helpful in learning about other students' experiences at specific volunteer or clinical sites, advice on balancing coursework with activities, RSO recommendations, etc.
