Online Resume & Cover Letter Reviews
Enroll in our Canvas page to have your resume or cover letter reviewed online during the fall and spring semesters when classes are in session. Reviews are not available during fall, spring, or summer breaks or on holidays.
This Canvas page is for undergraduate and graduate resumes and cover letters only. We also accept undergraduate CVs. Unfortunately, we do not review graduate level CVS.

- Are you a Pre-Health Student? If so, we highly recommend scheduling an appointment with a Pre-Health Career Advisor or visit Pre-Health Drop-in Advising (2–4:15 p.m., Wed. and Thurs.).
Submit your resume or cover letter through the Assignments tab:
Undergraduate – Undergraduate Resume, Cover Letter, and CV Submissions
Graduate – Graduate Resume and Cover Letter Submissions. We do not review graduate level CVs.
- Allow 3–5 business days for feedback. Reviews may take longer during peak periods.
- You may submit up to four reviews per semester. Use “Assignment 1” for your first review, “Assignment 2” for your second, and so on.
- Submit one document per assignment. If you submit multiple documents, only the first will be reviewed. To submit a revised document, use the next assignment slot.

What is an Online Resume/Cover Letter Review?
You will submit a draft of your resume or cover letter online. An undergraduate Career Services Paraprofessional spends 10-15 minutes reading your resume or cover letter and provides written feedback on changes and improvements that could make your document stronger and help you stand out when you apply to internships, jobs, or graduate schools. You will receive this feedback in approximately 3-5 business days.
Please read submission instructions prior to sending your file to avoid unnecessary delays.
This service is primarily targeted to undergraduates and entry-level positions. If you are a masters or doctoral student, you may be directed to the following services: Career Drop-in Advising, a career coaching appointment, or the Graduate College's Career Development office.
What if I can't wait 3-5 business days?
A business day is Monday - Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., when the University offices are open (excluding holidays). Any assignment submitted after 8:30 A.M. on the same business day will be considered submitted on the next business day.
The service will only be available when class is in session. If class is not in session, it is not considered a business day for this service.
