Our team of undergraduates share their experiences as pre-health students. The Pre-Health Ambassadors are leaders within the pre-health community at Illinois and represent a wide array of pre-health tracks, majors, and experiences. They host information sessions, provide peer mentoring, and offer insight to prospective students and their families.

All About Pre-Health Ambassador Peer Mentoring Appointments
What Are Pre-Health Ambassador Peer Mentoring Appointments?
Individual 30-minute meeting with a trained undergraduate Pre-Health Ambassador. Pre-Health Ambassadors offer student-to-student insight on topics such as navigating the pre-health path, including academic and co-curricular balance, clinical and research experience, and developing study strategies. They refer to Pre-Health Advisors as needed for application-related, academic concerns, readiness to apply, and more.
Who Can Make Pre-Health Ambassador Peer Mentoring Appointments?
This service is open to all eligible persons regardless of race, color, or national origin. Reasonable accommodations are available upon request, please contact careercenter@illinois.edu. Currently enrolled University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign students are eligible.
How Do I Make a Pre-Health Ambassador Peer Mentoring Appointment?
Visit Handshake and log in using credentials. Select "Make An Appointment" then select Pre-Health Advising from the menu and then select "Pre-Health Peer Mentoring". You may visit the Pre-Health Canvas page and browse the virtual desks of the Pre-Health Ambassadors on the a pre-health track or activities of interest to you.
